Dear Ms, Nappi:
Our office reviewed the additional information we received for the referenced property for
possible impact to historic properties listed, or eligible for listing, in the National Register of
Historic Places, or otherwise of historical, architectural or archaeological value. The review was
conducted in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as
amended and 36 CFR Part 800: Protection of Historic Properties.
We note that the proposed project consists of four property parcels that contain three structures
that are over 50 years old. It is the opinion of this office that none of the structures appear to be
eligible for the National Register. As a result, the proposed undertaking will not affect historic
properties.
However, we request that since the three structures are over 50 years of age and will be
demolished as a result of this project that they each be documented using a Florida Master Site
File Historic Structure Form, available online at http://www.flheritage.com/preservationisitefile/.
If there are any questions regarding the completion of the form, please contact the Florida Master
Site File office at 850.245.6440. Please note digital photograph requirements. Once demolition of
these building has been completed, please provide us with confirmation of demolition (e.g.
property appraiser records, demolition permits.) This information can be forwarded to the Florida
Master Site File Office so their records can be updated.
In addition, we request that the construction plans for the new bank building are designed to be
sensitive to the nature of the neighborhood and are in keeping with the scale and character of the
surrounding area.
