The City of Miami Department of Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at City
Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding
amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The
proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitydevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draftlamend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 and ends on
Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, May
10, 2012. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Community Development office located at 444 SW 2nd
AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the CD Address, Attn:
Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than May 9, 2012. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public
Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-416-
2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

1. Discussion and proposed resolution approving the allocation of funds from the City of Miami Department of
Community Development District 4 Economic Development Reserve account, in the amount of $500,000, to the
City of Miami Capital Improvements Program Office ("CIP") for street improvements in the West Flagler area.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution approving the transfer of Community Development Block Grant funds
("CDBG") to Rafael Hernandez Economic Development Corporation ("RHHED") in the amount of $65,000, from
the District 5 Economic Development Reserve account, for economic development activities associated with
commercial fa9ade and code compliance projects in District 5.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution accepting the substantially amended City of Miami Annual Action Plan
FY2011-2012, to include the Emergency Solutions Grant funding distribution.

authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may
