The nature of this item is to establish a term contract for self storage facilities, with A+ Mini Storage
Airport East, LLC, the sole responsive and responsible bidder, for an initial contractual period of two
(2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods, on an as needed basis,
under IFB No 291259. Allocating funds from the various sources of funds from the user departments
and agencies, authorizing said services as needed, subject to availability of funds and budgetary
approval at the time of need.

The City of Miami has a need self for storage facilities. On February 10, 2012, the Purchasing
Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 291259). As required by the Procurement Code, the
IFB was advertised and issued online. On March 7, 2012, at the bid opening, one (1) bid was
submitted and tabulated. The Purchasing Department is recommending award to the sole responsive
and responsible bidder per bid specifications. The estimated annual contract amount is $72,660.
