Bruce Bennett is an attorney with the Miami law firm of Pathman Lewis, LLP. As Senior Director
for Strategic Alliances and New Business Development, his focus is primarily on banking, finance,
policy, corporate and business transactions. He came to Pathman Lewis after a distinguished career
working on corporate, government and legislative matters on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. He
has also worked as an adviser to major municipalities on Capitol Hill on issues related to business,
commerce, criminal justice, taxes, banking, law enforcement, and community development.
Moreover, he has worked with Federal regulators, Members of Congress and their staffs on data and
Internet privacy issues. As a policy analyst, he works very closely with legislators in "Tallahassee. As
a Miami based attorney, he has helped companies enter the emerging South America and Caribbean
markets.
Mr. Bennett has distinguished himself as one of the most sough -after business advisors in Miami. He
was recently featured in the one of the top business magazines in Miami as one of the top visionary
leaders in South Florida. In Focus Magazine recently profiled him as one of the most effective
business/political advisors in South Florida. His opinion is sought regularly by the leading business
and legal newspapers in Miami. He has been the featured speaker before the British/American
Business Chamber and on panels such as the Miami Chamber of Commerce forum on South
America and China.
Bennett serves on some of the most distinguished boards in Miami including the Beacon Council,
Our Kids, Inc. and the Latin Builders Association. He also serves as an advisor to the University of
Miami's Hemispheric Studies Initiative where experts discuss trends and opportunities in countries
such as Brazil, Colombia and Panama. These associations have helped him better understand policy
developments in both Tallahassee and Washington.
As a State Department/USAID official, he worked on issues related to the West Bank/Gaza, Iran,
Haiti and Brazil. In an effort to address the drought in the Horn of Africa, he participated in
discussions at the World Food Program in Rome. He served on a joint task force at the United

Nations in an effort to address global poverty and education. He worked on issues related to the
Child Solider in Africa as well as Land Mine eradication in former war -torn areas. He also served on
a State Department/United Nations Task force related to social and economic development and
disaster emergencies in developing nations. In his diplomatic capacity, he was recognized by
Operation Care International for his efforts in helping win the release of a hostage held in Ethiopia.
His work has taken him to Asia, South America, Africa and Europe and the Middle East.
Mr. Bennett is a seasoned Washington, DC professional with over 20 years of experience working
with high level officials on political, legislative and regulatory matters. He has done legislative and
business development work on behalf of City of New York, Chevron Corporation, Acxiom
Corporation, and Eli Lilly as well as not for profit organizations doing work on behalf of families
and youth. Recently, he was instrumental in helping Florida based car dealerships win an important
victory on Capitol Hill by requiring General Motors to grant dealerships the opportunity to go into
binding arbitration in an effort to win back their rights to do business after being forced to close. As a
result, hundreds of jobs were saved. Moreover, local small businesses and professionals have secured
his help in navigating complex regulatory agencies in Washington. Moreover, his business ties have
helped companies seeking a gateway to Latin America. Finally, he has worked closely with attorneys
at the FDIC in Florida and Washington on a number of banking and housing issues. He has teamed
with trade associations in Washington as well as corporate teams in Florida in an effort to educate
Members of Congress and their staffs on pending legislation that impact access to housing and jobs.
He has also worked with several other State Legislatures including those in Sacramento, California,
Little Rock, Arkansas and Albany, New York.
As a college student at UCLA, Bennett was one of the student leaders of the anti-apartheid
movement and was in New York City as one of the many greeters to welcome Nelson Mandela's
first arrival in the US. As a member of Operation Crossroads Africa, he joined other students in
West Africa where they lived in a village for two months and built a school and water facilities. He
was recognized on Capital Hill in Washington, DC for the work that he did as a tutor for children
that lived in Washington's worst homeless shelters. As chief lobbyist on Capital Hill for the
Children's Defense Fund, he won important victories for working families with children. Similarly,
as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he was the first attorney selected by the Alphas to
go to Capitol Hill and work with Congress in the effort to create the memorial to Dr. Martin Luther
King. Dr. King was an Alpha.

REVEREND JEFFREY L. MACK
Jeffrey L. Mack a native Floridian, born November 20, 1961 at Mount Sinai Hospital,
Miami, Florida, to Mrs. Etta M. Priester and the late Rev. Bobby L. Mack. He grew up in
Carver Ranches (Hollywood) AKA "The Mecca" and attended Public Schools in Broward
County.
Rev. Mack was baptized by his Father and became a member of Community Missionary
Baptist Church, Hollywood, Florida. He served in the Choir until he joined the Usher Ministry
in 1977. May 8, 1983, Rev. Mack accepted his calling from the Lord into the Gospel Ministry.
May 31, 1994, Rev. Mack was called to the pastorage of the Second Canaan Missionary
Baptist Church, Miami, Florida. Pastor is married to the lovely Sis. Sandra A. Spence.
Together, they have six (6) kids and five (5) grandchildren.
Pastor Mack worked for Wal-Mart for nine (9) years from 1998 — 2007. Rev. Mack has been
pastor of Second Canaan Missionary Baptist Church for the past sixteen (16) years. Rev. Mack
and the membership are constantly striving, serving, and working for the Lord. The Lord has
blessed us both Spiritually and Financially and is continuing to elevate us to a higher level in his
will.
Pastor Mack is currently a member of the Florida East Coast Minister's and Deacon's
Union, A Board Member of the Florida East Coast Baptist Association, Board Member of the
Mecca Celebration of Carver Ranches, He is advisor to the President of the Florida General
Baptist State Convention, He is a Teacher for the State and District Congress of Christian
Education. He is a graduate of Revelation message Bible College with a Bachelor's Degree in
Ministry. He also has a Master's Degree in Christian Ministry from Jacksonville Theological
Seminary.
One of his favorite Scriptures is: Proverbs 3: 5 — 6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall
direct thy paths".
