His work has taken him to Asia, South America, Africa and Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Bennett is a seasoned Washington, DC professional with over 20 years of experience working with high level officials on political, legislative and regulatory matters. He has done legislative and business development work on behalf of City of New York, Chevron Corporation, Acxiom Corporation, and Eli Lilly as well as not for profit organizations doing work on behalf of families and youth. Recently, he was instrumental in helping Florida based car dealerships win an important victory on Capitol Hill by requiring General Motors to grant dealerships the opportunity to go into binding arbitration in an effort to win back their rights to do business after being forced to close. As a result, hundreds of jobs were saved. Moreover, local small businesses and professionals have secured his help in navigating complex regulatory agencies in Washington. Finally, he has worked closely with attorneys at the FDIC in Florida and Washington on a number of banking and housing issues.
