A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS APPROPRIATIONS TO THOSE LISTED IN
RESOLUTION NO. 12-0084, ADOPTED MARCH 08, 2012, AND REVISING
CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS AMONG APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER
APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE ADDED PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from the Local Option Gas Tax is being
established in the amount $500,000 for B-30992, Riverview/Lawrence Pump Station D3-PW; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from Impact Fees is being established in the
amount $397,100.80 for B-30541, Citywide Park Equipments and Site Improvements; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from Subrogation Auto Claims is being
established in the amount $112,200 for B-30666, Damaged Vehicle Replacement/Repairs; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from Stormwater Utility Trust is being
established in the amount $741,885 for B-30262, Citywide Stormsewer Repair Project; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Miami -Dade County Department of Cultural
Affairs is being established in the amount $354,614 for B-30671, Caribbean Market Place; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Miami -Dade County is being established in
the amount $204,444.08 for B-30637A, South Miami Avenue Drainage Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the new and revised appropriations constitute an update to the existing Multi -Year
Capital Plan approved pursuant to Resolution No. 11-0073, adopted February 24, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue previously approved
capital projects; and
WHEREAS, select previous appropriations are being reallocated within Capital Funds; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to approve appropriations for new sources of
revenues for Fiscal Year 2012 and to add to prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the
following format:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital
improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2012. The
added appropriations are designated by reference to capital fund and fund balances. Descriptive
project title and number, when included, are shown for informational purposes only.

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
by the Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, It shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
