Dear Mr. Barba:
The City of Miami is in receipt of your bid response to Bid No. 11-12-003 for Inlet Cleaning — North
Zone. The bid closed on Wednesday. November 30, 2011, and Envirowaste Services Group, Inc. is the
apparent sole responsive and responsible bidder.
Pursuant to City of Miami Ordinance No. 12271, Section 18-85, the City has the authority to negotiate
with the sole bidder for better pricing or re -bid whichever is in the best interest of the City.
The City hereby requests that you carefully analyze your bid price for any cost savings you can in tum
extend to the City; and provide what is considered your firm's 'best and final offer' as it pertains to your
cost to provide North Zone Inlet Cleaning. This offer should be faxed or emailed to the attention of
Monica Rodriguez, Legislative & Contract Manager (305) 416-1278, or at
MURodriaueza.miamigov.com, by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
