The nature of this item is to establish a term contract for court reporting services, with Kresse &,
Associates, LLC (primary) and Dov`mtown Reporting, LLC (secondary), the lowest responsive and
responsible bidders, for an initial contractual period of two (2) years with options for renewal for three
(3) additional one-year periods, on an as needed, when needed contractual basis, under IFB No
291252. Allocating funds from the various sources of funds from the user depaitiuents and agencies,
authorizing said services as needed, subject to availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time
of need.
Background Information:
The City of Miami has a need for court reporting services. On December 29, 2011, the Purchasing
Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 291252). As required by the Procurement Code, the
IFB was advertised and issued online. On January 27, 2012, at the bid opening, four (4) bids were
submitted and tabulated. The Purchasing Department is recommending award to the lowest
responsive and 'responsible bidders per bid specifications. The estimated annual contract amount is
S50,000.
