Purpose of Item: A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, with attachments, authorizing the City Manager to submit an application for grant funding to the Florida Inland Navigation District ("FIND") Waterways Assistance Program, in an amount not to exceed $183,750, for the Little River Waterfront Park Acquisition Phase II Project ("Project"); authorizing the allocation of the required matching funds for seventy-five percent (75%) of the Project costs, in an amount not to exceed $551,250, to be provided by the Bayfront — Riverfront Lands Acquisition Trust; authorizing the City Manager to execute any other necessary documents for the submission of said grant application for fiscal year 2012-2013. The City will retain an appraisal to establish fair market value for the properties. Background Information: The Office of Grants Administration is seeking City Commission authorization to apply for $183,750 in grant funding from the Florida Inland Navigation District for the Little River Park Project. The City seeks to purchase three properties located at 405 NE 79th Street, 435 NE 82nd Street and 8315 NE 4th Avenue. The total project cost is estimated at $735,000. The item includes language by Rule 66B-2, Florida Administrative Code, for grant submittal to the Waterways Assistance Program. Budget Impact Analysis NO Is this item related to revenue?
