Purpose of Item:
AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $362,000, IN
THE AMOUNTS AND TO THE AGENCIES AS SPECIFIED IN EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED
AND INCORPORATED, FOR PUBLIC SERVICES ACTIVITIES; ALLOCATING SAID
FUNDS FROM THE 'MAYOR'S POVERTY INITIATIVE ACCOUNT; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT(S), IN A FORM(S) ACCEPTABLE TO THE
CITY ATTORNEY, WITH.SAID AGENCIES, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
Background Information:
Due to the decrease of available Community Development Block Grant funds, all Public Service
agencies' allocations have been reduced.
Mayor Regalado wishes to allocate funding from the Mayor's Poverty Initiative Account to help with •
the funding shortfall.
Mayor Regalado recommends the transfer of Mayor's Poverty Initiative funds, in the amount of
$362,000, in the amounts and to the agencies as specified in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated.
