A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS APPROPRIATIONS TO THOSE LISTED IN
RESOLUTION NO. 12-0011 AND RESOLUTION NO. R-12-0015, ADOPTED
JANUARY 12, 2012, AND REVISING CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS AMONG
APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE
ADDED PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from Transit Half -Cent Surtax is being
established in the amount $27,000 for B-70715, City of Miami Trolley Program - Capital Acquisition &
Expenditures; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from Marinas Revenues is being established in
the amount of $554,500 for B-30706, Miscellaneous Repair - 10% Set Aside; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of revenues from TVM Production Basic Use Fee is being
established in the amount of $150,000 for B-30182A, Coconut Grove Waterfront Master Plan PHI; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Florida Inland Navigation District is being
established in the amount of $1,000,000 for B-50643, Wagner Creek Renovation Project - PH IV; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Florida Inland Navigation District is being
established in the amount of $800,000 for B-40180, Marine Stadium Marina at Virginia Key; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Federal Emergency Management Agency is
being established in the amount of $750,000 for B-30183, Garden Storm Sewer - Phase I; and
WHEREAS, the new and revised appropriations constitute an update to the existing Multi -Year
Capital Plan approved pursuant to Resolution No. 11-0073, adopted February 24, 2011; and
WHEREAS; the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue = previously approved
capital projects; and
WHEREAS, select previous appropriations are being reallocated within Capital Funds; and
_WHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to approve appropriations for new sources of
revenues for Fiscal Year 2012 and add to prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the
following format:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital
improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2012. The added
appropriations are designated by reference to capital fund and fund balances. Descriptive project title
and number, when included, are shown for informational purposes only.

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, It shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
