Background Information: The City is the recipient of a grant from South Florida Workforce to operate a workforce development office. The City has identified the Lindsey Hopkins Technical Center, operated by the School Board of Miami -Dade County, Florida ("School Board"), as an ideal location. The School Board agrees to lease a portion of the Tecluiical Center for the City's use at an annual rent of $1.00 plus building operating costs for the operation of the workforce development office during those times when the Technical Center would otherwise be closed, at a daily rate of $1,3G8.40 (estimated at approx. $21,552) for the initial term.
