HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 12-00019 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S) APPROVING THE OPERATING FUNDS FOR THE LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST'S FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012 BUDGET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $623,650, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2011 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2012. WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City"), approved and adopted the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859, as amended; and WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's revitalization and redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area; and WHEREAS, Section, 12.15-36 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, requires a budget pertaining to the management, operations, maintenance and capital expenditures for the Trust, be approved by the City Commission, and WHEREAS, the Trust requests the approval of the budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2011 and ending September 30, 2012, in the amount of $623,650, from administrative dollars provided by the Neighborhood Initiative Grant Program generated income to provide the general administrative and operational staff the support to operate; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated as fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The operating funds for the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust Fiscal Year 2011-2012 budget, in the amount of $623,650, attached and incorporated, is approved Section 3.
