A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION,
APPROVING THE OPERATING FUNDS FOR THE
LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST'S
FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF
SIX HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED
FIFTY DOLLARS ($617,650.00)
WHEREAS, the City of Miami approved and adopted the Liberty City Community
Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's
revitalization and redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area, and
WHEREAS, Section, 12.15-35 of the City Code, as amended, requires a budget
pertaining to the management, operations, maintenance and capital expenditures for
the Trust, be approved by the City Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Trust requests the approval of the budget for the fiscal year
commencing October 1, 2011 and ending September 30, 2012, in the amount of Six
Hundred Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($617,650.00), .from
administrative dollars provided by the Neighborhood Initiative Grant Program generated
income to provide the general administrative and operational staff the support to
operate,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this
Resolution are incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.

Section 2. The operating funds for the Liberty City Community Revitalization
Trust Fiscal Year 2011-2012 budget in the amount of Six Hundred Seventeen
Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($617,650.00), is approved
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.'

If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
