HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-12-0032City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-12-0032 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 11-01214 Final Action Date: 1/26/2012 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED NOVEMBER 10, 2011, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 282252, FROM DANA SAFETY SUPPLY, INC., THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF EXISTING MOBILE DIGITAL COMPUTERS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS, WITH OPTIONS TO RENEW FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received November 10, 2011, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 282252, from Dana Safety Supply, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for the procurement of Removal and Installation of Existing Mobile Digital Computers for the Department of Police, on an as -needed contractual basis, for an initial contract period of two (2) years, with the options to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds from the user departments, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor. {1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
