The board also reviews employment policies and practices of the City and makes recommendations to the Department of Employee Relations. Eight (8) appointments are required at this time: • Chairman Wifredo (Willy) Gort has one (1) nomination for a seat currently:* 1. Viona Brown, incumbent, whose term expired May 13, 2010, has served as a member since February 8, 2001 and would require a term waiver by a unanimous (5/5ths) vote of the Commission.
