CR.APP..1R. \-lanng r Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Removal / Installation of Existing Mobile Digital Computers TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand. Section 2:17, INSPECTION FOR COMPLETION AND PAYMENT, has been modified as follows: Upon completion of the work, a r-inspection will be held. Tthe Successful Bidder shall notify the Contract Administrator or Designee to perform an for scheduling of the inspection. An inspection of the completed work will occur within three (3) working days_ prier to the anticipated inspecti date. The Police Department w1 At the time of the completion of the inspection, if the materials are in whole or substantially acceptable, a notice will be provided to the Successful Bidder that the final acceptance is approved and payment will be authorized. If the City determines that the work -performed is not fully satisfactory to the City, the Successful Bidder shall immediately perform any and all required work in order to fully satisfy the City's requirements. Payment shall not be made unless the work is approved and authorized by the City. Section 3, Specifications, subsection 3.1(a), has been modified as follows: (a) Removal and installation of MDCs at a City owned facility i specified by the Computer Support Unit of the Miami Police Department or at the Successful Bidder(s) facility if located within a 10 to 15 mile radius of the City of Miami jurisdictional limits, whichever is in the best interest of the City. Hereinafterfollows a clarification regarding the "Garage Keepers Liability" listed in Section 2.10, Insurance Requirement: The Successful Bidder (i.e. Awarded Bidder) will be required to provide the City of Miami with "Garage Keepers Liability" if the Successful Bidder is asked by the City to perform the services outlined in Section 3, Specification, at the Successful Bidder's facility. Successful Bidder will be required to provide the City with "Garage Keepers Liability" prior to the commencement of any work at the Bidder's facility. Bidder will not be required to provide "Garage Keepers Liability" while services are performed at a facility owned by the City of Miami. Page 1 Audio from the Mandatory Pre -Bid Conference has been added and can be found under the Header/Notes and Attachments Section of this IFB, in the Oracle Sourcing System.
