The attached proposed Resolution seeks authorization for the City Manager to enter into
a Settlement Agreement for the settlement of all claims against the City of Miami, asserted in the
above -referenced lawsuit.
In this case, South Florida Equitable Fund, LLC., claims that the City of Miami violated
its constitutional rights by failing to enter into a Permit by Settlement with it for the erection of
billboards within the City of Miami.
A proposed companion ordinance is attached for consideration as well.
