ATTACHMENT(S) DENYING OR GRANTING THE APPEAL, AFFIRMING OR
REVERSING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD AND THEREBY
DENYING OR GRANTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION AS LISTED IN
ORDINANCE NO. 11000, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, ARTICLE 9, SECTION 924.11, TO ALLOW
EXTENSIONS OF DOCKS AND PIERS INTO WATERWAYS EXTENDING
MORE THAN 35 FEET IN LENGTH, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
APPROXIMATELY 3300 SOUTH MOORINGS WAY, MIAMI, FLORIDA,
PURSUANT TO PLANS ON FILE, CONDITIONS SET FORTH, AND SUBJECT
FURTHER TO A TIME LIMITATION OF TWELVE (12) MONTHS IN WHICH A
BUILDING PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED.
Purpose: The approval of this appeal will not allow extensions of docks and piers with
more than 35 feet into waterways.

Planning Department: Recommended denial of the appeal and approval of the original request.

conditions on October 19, 2009 by a vote of 9-0.
