On my personal side, since 2004 I have been a volunteer, participant, • coach, and fund-raising mentor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (South Florida Chapter), a non-profit organization dedicated to research and saving lives of people afflicted with the various forms of Blood cancers. As a runner, bicycle enthusiast, and long time resident of Coconut Grove, I have a great love for our city and much concern for the future of our parks, bike paths and greenery, as well as the general safety of our pedestrians. At the same time, as a businessman, I understand the demands of development and capitalism.
