Amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, by
amending Articles 4 and 9, Section 401 Schedule of
district regulations and Section 934 Community
Residential Homes and Community based residential
facilities, in order to add Transitional Housing as a
conditional principal use for R-3 and more liberal
districts, subject to certain limitations, providing for
special permit requirements and criteria; containing a
severability clause and providing for an effective date.

This will allow adding transitional housing as a
conditional principal use R-3 and more liberal
districts, subject to certain limitations, providing for
special permit requirements and criteria.
Recommended approval to City Commission on
January 21, 2009 by a vote of 8-0.
