A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WAIVING THE CITY OF MIAMI
("CITY") FEES ASSOCIATED WITH AN ORANGE BOWL STADIUM MEMORABILIA
KICKOFF EVENT, ORANGE BOWL STADIUM SALE EXTRAVAGANZA AND
AUCTION TO BE CONDUCTED BY DREAM PRODUCTS, INC., D/B/A MOUNTED
MEMORIES ("MOUNTED MEMORIES"), AT THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM,
DURING THE MONTHS OF JANUARYAND FEBRUARY, 2008, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE HISTORIC/MEMORABILIA ASSET DISPOSITION SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND MOUNTED MEMORIES.
WHEREAS, the primary tenant of the Orange Bowl Stadium ("Stadium"), the University of Miami,
decided to no longer utilize the Stadium for football games following the 2007 season; and
WHEREAS, without a primary tenant the facility would become a liability and therefore a
determination was made to demolish the site as soon as possible and prepare the site for
redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, recognizing the historic significance of the property and the broad community interest
in "owning a piece of the Stadium," it was determined that the City of Miami ("City") should produce
an event to celebrate the site's history and further offer for sale Stadium assets in a very public,
celebratory manner; and
WHEREAS, in order to offset the cost of demolition and to offer historic memorabilia for sale to
the community, all saleable items should be removed from the Stadium prior to demolition; and
WHEREAS, on December 13, 2007, the City Commission authorized the execution of an
agreement ("Agreement") with Dream Products, Inc., d/b/a Mounted Memories ("Mounted Memories")
related to the sale of Orange Bowl historic memorabilia and assets; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for Mounted Memories to conduct certain activities relating to
the sale of memorabilia and salvage items; and
WHEREAS, the City will share in the proceeds from the events and the sale of memorabilia and
salvage items;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Miami City Commission waives the City fees associated with a Stadium
memorabilia kickoff event, Stadium Sale Extravaganza and auction to be conducted by Mounted

Memories, at the Stadium, during the months of January and February, 2008, in accordance with the
historic/memorabilia asset disposition services agreement between the City and Mounted Memories.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
