Subject: Discussion and Adoption of the 2008 State Legislative Agenda
Purpose of Item:
To discuss and adopt the City of Miami's legislative agenda for the 2008 State of Florida legislative
session.
Background Information:
The State of Florida Legislature will commence its 2008 session on March 4, 2008. In preparation,
the Legislature is set to meet in committees for one week in December 2007, and through the months
of January and February 2008. As such, the Office of the City Manager seeks approval from the City
Commission to forward these legislative priorities during the upcoming session.
