Consideration of an Ordinance of the Miami City
Commission, removing Class I Special Permits for
temporary uses from Zoning Ordinance 11000, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Miami and transferred to Chapter
62 of the City Code; containing a severability clause; and
providing for an effective date.

BACKGROUND AND
ANALYSIS
It is recommended that Class I Special Permits for
temporary uses be removed from Ordinance No. 11000, as
amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami and
transferred to Chapter 62 of the City Code. Other
temporary uses such a street vending and special events
are regulated within the City Code; this recommended
change will provide uniformity for regulating temporary
uses.
