A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000, FROM THE LIBERTY CITY
COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST, AND AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION
OF SAID FUNDS TO THE MARTIN LUTHER KING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, FOR THE REVITALIZATION OF THE MARTIN LUTHER KING
BUSINESS CENTER; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $500,000, FROM THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND
AND AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF SAID FUNDS TO THE LIBERTY CITY
COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The transfer of funds, in the amount of $500,000, from the Liberty City Community
Revitalization Trust and the allocation of said funds to the Martin Luther King Economic Development
Corporation, for the revitalization of the Martin Luther King Business Center, and the transfer of
funds, in the amount of $500,000, from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund and the allocation of said
funds, to the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust, is authorized.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
