Thompson City Clerk DATE : June 12, 2006 SUBJECT; FILE : Request to use City Hall as an Early Voting Site for upcoming Miami -Dade Elections REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES:0` Attached hereto, is a request received from Ms. Ivy Korman, Deputy Supervisor, Miami -Dade County Elections to utilize Miami City Hall as an early voting site for the September 5, 2006 Primary Election and the November 7, 2006 General Election. The logistical information and hours of voting for the elections are as follows: September 5t11 Primary: setup Friday, August 18; voting starting Monday, August 21 and ending Sunday, September 3, 2006. November 7th General: setup Friday, October 20; voting starting Monday, October 23 and ending Sunday, November 5, 2006. MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY 7AM — 3PM 7AM — 3PM 7AM — 3PM 7AM — 3PM 7AM — 3PM 9AM — 1PM 11AM — 3PM 11AM— 7PM 11AM— 7PM 11AM-7PM 11AM— 7PM 11AM— 7PM 9AM --1PM 11AM- 3PM Access to the site will be needed one hour earlier on the first day of voting and'/2 hour each day after that. Additionally, access to the site will be needed approximately '/2 hour after closing on a daily basis.
