HomeMy WebLinkAboutpublic hearingCITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on September 23, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of authorizing the City Manager to exercise an option to purchase the property located at 3188 SW 16th Terrace, Miami, Florida, from LPR Enterprises of Miami, Inc., a Florida Corporation, in connection with the development of a fire station, for a total purchase price of $1,408,000.00, and to consummate said transaction in accordance with the terms of an Option Agreement; further allocating funds in the amount of $1,453,000,00 from the Neighborhood Fire Stations and Training Facility Project Account No. 313306.289307 appropriated from the $255 Million Homeland Defense/Neighborhood Improvement Bond to cover the cost of said acquisition inclusive of cost of survey, appraisals, environmental reports, and title insurance and other closing costs associated with said acquisition. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed purchase. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based.
