HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutionCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 04-00801 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING A UNITY OF TITLE FOR LAND LOCKED PARCELS, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, AS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE RECORDATION OF THE PLAT OF WATSON ISLAND -SOUTHWEST; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE UNITY OF TITLE; PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION OF THE UNITY OF TITLE IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY. WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") is in the process of platting Watson Island -Southwest which contains various tracts; and WHEREAS, the platting of Watson Island -Southwest will result in certain tracts being land locked; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. A Unity of Title for land locked parcels, in substantially the attached form, is accepted, as a requirement for the recordation of the plat of Watson Island -Southwest. Section 3. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized{1} to execute said Unity of Title, and to provide for the recordation of same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{2} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: MARIA J. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
