6.'Discussion and Proposed Resolution approving the City of Miami Consolidated Plan for 2004-2009 and the Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2004-2005 with handing recommendations for
Community Devsiepmerd Development Block Grant ICOBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME); Emergency Sheller Grent (ESG) and Housing Opportunitiee kw Parsons with
AIDS IHOPWA). U.S. HUD requires entitlement cities, like the City of Miami, that receive lands under Its grant programs to prepare a consolidated five year plan, which data% proposed
activities to maximize the benefits of lederal funding.
Upon City Commission approval, the Consolidated Plan will be available for public review and comment for 30 days,.The review and comment period begins on Monday. June 14, 2004 and
ends Tuesday. July 13, 2004.
Draft copies of the 2004.2009 Consolidated Plan wit be available al two City of Mara Department of Community Development location: 444 SW 2nd Avenue. 2nd Floor, Miami Florida 33130
or 1313 NW Nth Sheet, 2nd Roar, Miami Florida 33142. The drafts will also be avadabie at the City of Miami NET often, and Public Llbreriea located within the City Lkdts.
In addition, the City of Miami Department of Community Development has eliminated its existing Community Revhelizaton Districts as part of Its Consolidated Plan la 2004-2009 (time new
boundaries now referred 10 as Neighborhood Development Zones (NM) wig also be available for public review and comment). The new NDZa will replace the previoraly existing Clips and ea
boundaries.
The proposed NDZs integrate the "model block", concept which will serve as target areas for affordable housing development activities. The model block boundaries, which reside within the
new NDZ boundaries, wit atso be available for public review and comment al the Iwo Community Development locations listed above.
7. 'Discussion and Proposed Resolution directing the allocation of S9,928,000 of the 30th Year
S805.918 and Program Income in the amount of $1,100,000 as specified herein for the 301h Program
