Florida on October 8, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission
Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for
the purpose of waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed bids for
the sole source purchase of fifty (50) Axon Flex camera systems with
related equipment, at an amount not to exceed $49,511.09, from Taser
International, Inc., located at 17800 N. 85th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85255,
for the Department of Police.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a package who feel
that they might be able to satisfy the City's requirements for this item may
contact Yadissa Calderon, Sr. Procurement Specialist, at the City of
Miami Purchasing Department at (305) 416-1909.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning
such proposed acquisition. Should any person desire to appeal any
decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered
at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which
any appeal may be based (F.S.286.0105).
