The Public Hearing has been scheduled for May 8, 2014. AT THE SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO BE HELD ON MAY 8, 2014 AT 9:00 A.M., IN ITS CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEM RELATED TO THE REGULAR AGENDA: AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER 55 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS", MORE PARTICULARLY TO CREATE A NEW SECTION, SECTION 55-16, TO ADDRESS THE CONSIDERATION OF EASEMENTS WHEN ALLEGED TO BE ABANDONED AS A MATTER OF LAW; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for review at the Public Works Department, located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 8th Floor, during regular working hours. Phone 305-416-1200. The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties to be present or represented at this meeting and are invited to express their views. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
