Purpose of Item:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), Authorizing the City Manager to
execute a Revocable License Agreement ("Agreement"), in substantially the attached form, between the City
of Miami ("City") and Barry University, Inc. ("Licensee"), for use of approximately seven classrooms and office
space in the City of Miami Police College, City -owned property located at 350 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL
33128, for a monthly Use Fee of $1,000.00 for the office space, plus $31.25 per class, per hour, plus the
endowment of Public Safety Scholarship awards, plus State of Florida Use Tax (If applicable), on a month to
month term, with additional terms and conditions, as more specifically set forth in said Agreement.

Subject: Revocable License Agreement ("Agreement") with Barry University, Inc. ("Licensee") for the
use of office space and classroom space at the City of Miami Police College, Miami, Florida
Background Information:
The Department of Public Facilities recommends the subject RLA, with the potential to generate recurring
revenues for the City and benefit the City of Miami employees, and residents.
The City and Barry University, Inc. negotiated a revocable license agreement for the use classrooms and office
space in the City of Miami Police College, City -owned property located at 350 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL
33128, for a monthly use fee of $1,000.00 for the office space, plus $31.25 per class, per hour, plus the
endowment of Public Safety Scholarship awards, plus State of Florida use tax (if applicable), with one
hundred percent (100%) of the revenue to the city to be deposited in the Police College General Revenue
Fund to be utilized for future maintenance and improvements .at the Police College; on a month to month
term.
