9 die in Kosovo avalanche; girl pulled out alive

on February 23, 2012, commencing at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission

ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING
CHAPTER 2, ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATION", AND CHAPTER 62,
ENTITLED "ZONING AND PLANNING", OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, MORE PARTICULARLY BY
DELETING LANGUAGE IN CHAPTER 2 AND ADDING AND UPDATING

ORDER TO ADDRESS THE FILLING TO LEVEL GRADE OF EXISTING
EXCAVATED SITES OR EXCAVATED CONSTRUCTION SITES
WITHIN THE CITY OF MIAMI; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

MORE PARTICULARLY BY AMENDING SECTIONS 10-4 AND 10-5, IN
ORDER TO CHANGE THE SCHEDULE OF FEES, AND WAIVED FEES
RELATED TO THE PROCESSING AND ISSUANCE OF BUILDING
PERMITS; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Said proposed ordinances may be inspected by the public at the Office of
the City Clerk, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or at

the date of the Commission Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be
heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. Should any person desire
to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter
to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence
upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
