Subject: Approval of Miami Ballpark Parking Facilities Interlocal & Lease Agreement, as amended
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, with attachment(s), authorizing the City Manager to
execute that certain Miami Ballpark Parking Facilities Interlocal Cooperation and Lease Agreement
("Interlocal"), previously authorized by Resolution No. R-11-0479, by and between the City of Mi-
ami, Florida ("City") and the Department of Off -Street Parking of the City of Miami ("MPA"), as
amended herein, in substantially the attached form.
Background Information:
At its board meeting held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, the MPA approved the previously au-
thorized Interlocal, with amendments, more specifically:
(a) the inclusion of a right for the MPA to terminate the Interlocal, with or without cause, with 90-
days prior notice; and
(b) the removal of the MPA's option to appropriate additional funds toward operations should cir-
cumstances so require.
