Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing a Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement with the Florida Department of
Transportation ("FDOT") for beautification improvements along SR 933/NW 12(h Avenue from NW
14'1i Street to north of NW 15th Street.
Background Information:
In 2008, the City Commission authorized a Joint Participation Agreement with the FDOT for the
implementation of a streetscape project along SR 933/NW 12'h Avenue in the Miami Health District.
The City has drafted design plans for beautification improvements on NW 12i1' Avenue from NW 14d'
Street to north of NW ] 5" Street. This agreement is only for the maintenance of the integral color
concrete crosswalks, which will be performed in-house by Public Works personnel.
