Background Information: The State of Florida Department of Financial Services has annually awarded a grant to the South Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 2, for the continued operation of the City's USAR Program. Said grant award for Fiscal Year 2010 is in the amount of $227,689.00, commencing upon the execution of this Agreement, through March 30t", 2013. It is now appropriate to accept said grant award, establish a Special Revenue Project and appropriate the $227,689.00 grant award therein for said fiscal year.
