A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ELECTING AND
REAPPOINTING PRISCILLA A. THOMPSON, AS CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA; CONTINUING THE CURRENT COMPENSATION AND
EMOLUMENT PACKAGE, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE CITY COMMISSION
CHANGES THE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4 of the Charter of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, the
City Commission elects a City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Priscilla A. Thompson has competently performed her duties as City Clerk in a
capable and professional manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Priscilla A. Thompson is elected and reappointed as City Clerk of the City of Miami,
Florida, and the current compensation and emolument package, is continued, until such times as
the City Commission changes the compensation and benefits.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
