APPROVING THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
REVISED MANUFACTURED HOME DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM POLICIES, AS
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED AND REVISED POLICIES FOR
DEVELOPERS FOR COMMISSION DISTRICT 1, AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B", ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PURPOSE(S).

Background Information:
Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0285, adopted July 8, 2010, the Miami City Commission approved the
City's Manufactured Home Down Payment Assistance Program Policies and authorized the transfer
of $200,000 from the District 1 Home Investment Partnership reserve account for the implementation
of said program.
CD is revising the MHDA Program Policies to increase the amount of assistance to a maximum of
$40,000 and increase the affordability period to 10 years.
The City will provide assistance to developers for the replacement of manufactured homes within the
City to be owned and occupied by low income residents whose manufactured homes have been
found to be in violation of the City Code.
The Administration requests the approval of the revised MHDA Program Policies, as described in
Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, and revised policies for developers in Commission District 1,
as described in Exhibit "B", attached and incorporated.
