HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 11-00932 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE PROCUREMENT OF DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES, FROM PENN CREDIT CORPORATION, UNDER AN ALL-INCLUSIVE FIXED CONTINGENCY FEE OF FIFTEEN PERCENT (15%), ON A CITYWIDE, AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, USING THE EXISTING CITY OF TAMPA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 61081108, EFFECTIVE THROUGH APRIL 1, 2014, SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY THE CITY OF TAMPA; ALLOCATING FUNDS' FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The procurement of Debt Collection Services, from Penn Credit Corporation, under an all-inclusive fixed contigency fee of fifteen percent (15%), on a Citywide, as -needed contractual basis, using the existing City of Tampa Request for Proposals No. 61081108, effective through April 1, 2014, subject to any extensions or replacement contracts by the City of Tampa, is authorized, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:, JULIE 0. BRU CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
