6) 1 was part of the City of Miami Police Department Police Explorer program from
September 2005 till March 2010. In that time I was exposed to the departments
operations and experienced community interaction with the City of Miami Police
Department Police officers. I also built up on my leadership skills up to achieving
the position of Police Explorer Major of Post 122 and ultimately becoming a Junior
Advisor for Post 122. My'experience with the City of Miami Police Department
and with the City of Miami communities has afforded me the opportunity to
better understand the way the Police Department operates with our community.
7) may have a say and look into allegations brought forth to the City of Miami
Police Department. As a resident of the City of Miami and a Citizen of the United
States of America, 1 believe in a fair process for our men and women in uniform
and the opportunity to hear our residents concerns for which we may resolve
with a professional and appropriate manner.
