A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
FIRE FIGHTERS' AND POLICE OFFICERS' ("FIPO") RETIREMENT TRUST FUND
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2011 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2012, IN THE AMOUNT OF $0, TO PROVIDE FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE CITY OF THE FIPO RETIREMENT TRUST FUND, WITH
THE ACTUAL AMOUNT AMORTIZED IN ACTUARIAL NORMAL COST AS STATED
IN THE ACTUARIAL REPORT DATED JUNE 16, 2011.
. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10002 was adopted by the City Commission on June 13, 1985,
authorizing a Board of Trustees to administer the City of Miami Fire Fighters' and Police Officers'
("FIPO") Retirement Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, a budget is required to properly administer the FIPO Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, the budget of the FIPO Trust Fund for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 to operate, has been
reviewed by the Board of Trustees of the FIPO Retirement Trust Fund and found to be acceptable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Annual Budget of the FIPO Retirement Trust Fund for the Fiscal Year commencing
October 1, 2011 and ending September 30, 2012, in the amount of $0, to provide for the operation of
the FIPO Retirement Trust Fund, with the actual amount amortized in the Actuarial Normal Cost as
stated in the Actuarial Report dated June 16, 2011, is approved and adopted.•
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
day from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
