The Equal Opportunity Advisory Board was created to review and recommend to the City
Commission the adoption of amendments/revisions to the City's affirmative action plan. The board
also reviews employment policies and practices of the City and makes recommendations to the
Department of Employee Relations.
One (1) Term waiver is required at this time:*
• Miriam Urra, appointed by Chairman Wifredo (Willy) Gort on March 10, 2011 has
served since February 8, 2001, requires a 5/5 unanimous affirmative vote.
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy
of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the July 14,
2011 Commission agenda.
