issues of youth related
violence within urban
neighborhoods of the City
of Miami, the Safe Summer
2010 Coalition created a
series of summer activities
targeted for youth and
families. The coalition
consisted of a multi -agency
joint venture which

purpose of the coalition
was to address the
concerns of youth and
parents regarding violence
