Lauderdale Police Department ("FLPD"), Hollywood Police Department ("HPD"), North Miami Police Department ("NMPD"), Miami -Dade Police Department ("MDPD"), Miami Beach Police Department ("MBPD") and Coral Gables Police Department ("CGPD") as Participating Agencies in the UASI FY 2008 Grant Program to Resolution No. 09-0413, adopted September 10, 2009. Director City Manager Page 1 of 1 Background Information: (continued) On September 10, 2009, pursuant to Resolution 09-0413, the City Commission authorized the City Manager to execute Memoranda of Agreements ("MOA's") for' participating Miami Urban Area Security Initiative ("UASI") Grant FY 2008 Agencies in connection with the support of the UASI Program FY 2008 administered by the City of Miami Department of Fire -Rescue. The term of the original Agreement, UASI Grant Program FY 2008, expired May 31st, 2011. Hence, Modification #1 was issued by the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management ("DEM") to reinstate, modify and extend said grant. Therefore, the City reinstated and modified the original Agreement by extending it to August 31 S` 2011, pursuant to Resolution No. 11-0199, adopted May 12th, 2011. Resolution 09-0413 is being amended to add Memoranda of Agreements ("MOA's") for the participating agencies of Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office ("PBSCO"), Broward County Sheriff's Office ("BSO"), Ft. Lauderdale Police Department ("FLPD") , Hollywood Police Department ("HPD"), North Miami Police Department ("NMPD"), Miami -Dade Police Department ("MDPD"), Miami Beach Police Department ("MBPD"), and Coral Gables Police Department ("CGPD"), will be added to this Resolution and will uphold the Memoranda of Agreements ("MOA's") which identify the distribution of equipment by the City of Miami which specify maintenance and inventory responsibilities in accordance with the UASI grant's policies. Additional language is stipulated to further authorize the City Manager to execute any other related modifications, amendments, extensions, or Memoranda of Agreements ("MOA's") on all UASI grant matters except those dealing with funding changes. Further amending the funding source of,Equipment purchase from Resolution No. 10-0545, adopted December 16, 2010, will be corrected to funding source UASI Grant Program FY 2008, PTAEO No. 18-180018-01.06.07-1660-Equip-181000 in the amount of $258,582.87, upon acceptance and approval of the City Commission. The City Commission authorizes the City Manager to amend and execute Memoranda of Agreements ("MOA's"), in substantially the attached form, between Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office ("PBSCO"), Broward County Sheriff's Office ("BSO"), Ft. Lauderdale Police Department. ("FLPD"), Hollywood Police Department ("HPD"), North Miami Police Department ("NMPD"), Miami -Dade Police Department ("MDPD"), Miami Beach Police Department ("MBPD"), and Coral Gables Police Department ("CGPD"), setting forth the parties' responsibilities in connection with the support of the UASI Grant Program FY 2008 and to accept all grant funds identified to and for the City of Miami in accordance with said Project.
