Purpose of Item:
To authorize the City Manager to accept a donation valued at approximately $59,450 from Florida Community
Lighting, Inc. for the installation of street lighting poles along Rice Street between Florida Avenue and Oak
Avenue. This donation includes the service connection, associated restoration and a one year maintenance
warranty. Resolution further authorizes the City Manager to execute an Access, Indemnification and Acceptance
Agreement covering the donation, temporary access rights and one year maintenance warranty.
Background Information:
Florida Community Lighting, Inc. has graciously agreed to donate street lighting poles to the City as a
demonstration project to showcase their product and services. This donation includes the installation of the
lighting poles, service connection, associated restoration and a one year maintenance warranty.
