Law Department Matter ID No. Purpose of Item: To appropriate new funding . sources and to amend the . Capital Improvements Appropriations Resolution 11-0183 and as previously amended on July 14, 2011, to reflect the addition of these funds as well as other reprogramming of existing funding. Background Information: The City received FIND grants for Coconut Grove Viewing Platform Spoil Island C, B-40171 in the amount of $7,500 and Spoil Island E, B-40172 in the amount of $7,500. The City received a donation from Ransom Everglades School for Coconut Grove Viewing Platfoiin Spoil Island C, B-40171 in the amount of $1,650 and Spoil Island E, B-40172 in the amount of $1,650. The City received an additional $115,130 of ARRA funds for ARRA Citywide Bicycle Rack & Signage, B-30694. The City is entering into a Joint Participation Agreement with Bayfront' Park Management Trust to fund Bayfront Park Electrical Repairs, B-40173. The City accepted a FEMA grant for Fire Rescue Personal Protective Equipment, B-70411 in the amount of $656,464. These new appropriations as well as reprogramming of existing funding to continue projects, requires that the Capital Improvements Appropriations Resolution 11-0183 and as previously amended on July 14, 2011, be amended to reflect said changes to the capital appropriations.
