A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS APPROPRIATIONS TO THOSE LISTED IN
RESOLUTION NO..11-0183, ADOPTED APRIL 28, 2011 AND AS PREVIOUSLY
AMENDED ON JULY 14, 2011, AND REVISING CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS
AMONG APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR
THE ADDED PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District ("FIND")
is being established for B-40171, Coconut Grove Viewing Platform Spoil Island C; and
. WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District ("FIND")
is being established for B-40172, Coconut Grove Viewing Platform Spoil Island E; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a donation from the Ransom Everglades School is being
established for B-40171, Coconut Grove Viewing Platform Spoil Island C; and for B-40172, Coconut
Grove Viewing Platform Spoil Island E; and
WHEREAS, American Reinvestment and Recovery Act ("ARRA") Economic Stimulus package
grant funds and other funds that are not listed herein are appropriated by the Finance Department in a
fund line item entitled "ARRA-others- Memo Only"; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of an American Reinvestment and Recovery Act ("ARRA")
Economic Stimulus package 2009-State of Florida Department of Health grant is being established for
B-30694, ARRA Citywide Bicycle Rack & Signage; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Bayfront Park Management Trust is being
established for B-40173, Bayfront Park Electrical Repairs; and
WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Federal Emergency Management Agency
("FEMA") is being established for B-70411, Fire Rescue Personal Protective Equipment; and
• WHEREAS, the new and revised appropriations constitute an update to the existing Multi -Year
Capital Plan approved pursuant to Resolution No. 11-0073, adopted February 24, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue previously approved
capital projects; and
WHEREAS, select previous appropriations are being reallocated within Capital Funds; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to approve appropriations for new sources of
revenues for Fiscal Year 2011.and add to prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the
following format:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital
improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2011. The added
appropriations are designated by reference to capital fund and fund balances. Descriptive project title
and number, when included, are shown for informational purposes only.

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, It shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
