HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-11-0295City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-11-0295 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 11-00602 Final Action Date: 7/14/2011 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS APPROPRIATIONS TO THOSE LISTED IN RESOLUTION NO. 11-0183, ADOPTED APRIL 28, 2011, AND REVISING CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS AMONG APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE ADDED PROJECTS. WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Miami -Dade County is being established for B-40268, FEC Quiet Zone; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation is being established for B-30631, Miami River Greenway from Miami Circle Greenway to South Miami Avenue; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation is being established for B-30130, Miami River Greenway Southwest 1st Court to South Miami Avenue - D2; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District is being established for B-30706, Miscellaneous Repairs 10% Set Aside; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from Miami -Dade County is being established for B-30646, South Bayshore Drive Roadway and Drainage Improvements; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Miami -Dade County Metropolitan Planning Organization is being established for B-70716, Car Sharing Feasibility Study; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation is being established for B-30500, Civic Center Infrastructure; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of Special Revenue Funds to Capital is being established for B-30365N, Knight Center Restroom Improvement; and WHEREAS, the new and revised appropriations constitute an update to the existing Multi -Year Capital Plan approved pursuant to Resolution No. 11-0073, adopted February 24, 2011; and WHEREAS, the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue previously approved capital projects; and WHEREAS, select previous appropriations are being reallocated within Capital Funds; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to approve appropriations for new sources of revenues for Fiscal Year 2011 and add to prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the City of Miami Page 1 of 3 File Id: 11-00602 (Version: 1) Printed On: 10/13/2017 File Number: 11-00602 Enactment Number: R-11-0295 following format: Fund 30000 Fund 31000 Fund 32000 Fund 33000 Fund 34000 Fund 35000 Fund 36000 Fund 37000 Fund 38000 Fund 39000 Fund 39900 Fund 98004 Memo Only; Community Redevelopment Area General Government Public Safety Disaster Recovery Public Facilities Parks & Recreation Streets & Sidewalks Sanitary Sewers Storm Sewers Solid Waste Mass Transit American Reinvestment and Recovery Act ("ARRA") Others NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2011. The added appropriations are designated by reference to capital fund and fund balances. Descriptive project title and number, when included, are shown for informational purposes only.
