Further authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, to accomplish the acquisition of the Property. Director .1/S1:460 City Manager Purchasing N/A C c vim%I(0 410 4111MW Page 1 of 2 Subject: Resolution for the purchase of the property located at 1320 SW 12 Avenue, Miami, FL Background Information: The City of Miami ("City") has plans to reconstruct the Little Havana Community Center located at 1300 S.W. 12 Avenue, Miami, Florida to enhance the quality of life for all who visit the neighborhood. The City wishes to acquire the property currently under foreclosure, located at 1320 S.W. 12 Avenue, Miami, Florida ("Property") abutting the Little Havana Community Center, to enhance the development of the Community Center. The Property, containing 3,175 sq. ft. is contiguous to the Community Center. Consumer Solutions REO LLC, a Florida corporation, the owner of the Property has submitted a Willing Owner Statement and will enter into a Purchase and Sale Agreement, to sell the property to the City for Thirty -Two Thousand Dollars ($32,000) . One independent appraisal was procured and established $32,000 as the average fair market value for the Property. Resolution adopted on , authorized the transfer of Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Capital Improvement Program Office Little Havana Community Center Project in the amount of $100,000 to the Department of Public Facilities for the purchase and development of the site. The City's estimated cost for the acquisition and development of the Property will not exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000). Page 2 of 2
