Subject: Resolution Granting of an approximately sixteen thousand two hundred sixty (16,260) foot
wide water main easement to Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department on City -owned
property located at 1501 NW 3rd Street, Miami, Florida (known as Marlins Stadium).
Purpose of Item:
The administration recommends that the Miami City Commission adopt the attached Resolution
authorizing the City Manager to execute a Grant of Easement on City -owned property located at1501
NW 3rd Street, Miami, Florida, to Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department, of an
approximately sixteen thousand two hundred sixty (16,260) foot wide perpetual non-exclusive
easement on the property.as more particularly described in Exhibit "A", for the construction, •
operation and maintenance of water main facilities within the easement.

Subject: Resolution Granting of an approximately sixteen thousand two hundred sixty (16,260) foot
wide water main easement to Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department on City -owned
property located at 1501 NW 3rd Street, Miami, Florida (known as Marlins Stadium).
Background Information:
Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department ("MDWASD") has requested the grant of
easement of an approximately sixteen thousand two hundred sixty (16,260) foot wide strip perpetual
non-exclusive easement on City -owned property located at, 1501 NW 3`d Street, Miami, Florida.
The easement will be used for the construction, operation and maintenance of water main facilities
with the right to reconstruct, relocate, improve, change and remove all or any of the facilities within
the easement.
The easement shall further contain a reverter provision that if the easement is abandoned or
discontinued, the easement shall cease and revert back to the City.
