Director 7, City Manager Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0087, adopted February 25, 2010, the Miami City Commission authorized the allocation of $1,000,000 in CDBG funds to CIP for the reconstruction of the Little Havana Community Center. The District has identified an adjacent property currently under foreclosure that can be used to enhance the development of the Community Center. The Administration recommends the transfer of CDBG funds in the amount of $100,000 from CIP- LHCCP to the Department of Public Facilities for the purchase and development of the site located at 1320 Southwest 12th Avenue, Miami, Florida; in accordance with CDBG regulations.
